Born in California, studied abroad in Asia, and currently based in New York, Margaret Tsai is a designer with a global perspective on the intersection of technology, art, and design.
Her work has earned her recognition as a 2023 YoungArts Finalist in Design Arts, 2023 US Presidential Scholar in the Arts Semifinalist, and a Barbara L. Kuhlman Scholar (2023, 2024).
As a second-year student at Cornell University, Margaret is majoring in Design + Environmental Analysis with a minor in Apparel Design. Margaret is also an undergraduate researcher at the Hybrid Body Lab.
